Positive Test Detected for Covid-19 at Private College in Bhawanipatna (!)

Bhawanipatna: After several private educational institutions in Odisha are now experiencing a surge in Covid-19 cases. On Monday a private college in Bhawanipatna was the latest to report 32 Covid-19 cases.

Confirming the detection, CDMO, Kalahandi said that the students, who have tested positive, were staying in the hostel of the college.

“From antigen tests, 32 students have tested positive for Covid-19. Initially, 12 of the had tested positive for the virus,” the CDMO said.

It is worthy to mention here that Covid-19 cases are witnessing a steep rise in Odisha. Fresh Covid cases are also being reported from several educational institutions in the twin cities of Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Rourkela.

According to source; all have come from outside the State. They have tested positive for the virus during contact tracing. All have been put under quarantine.
