Paralakhemundi-At hill terrain those tribals centuries together are living with their small resources.They have tradition to perform makar otherwise called Pongal festival with all color & gaiety. Started with first day of Pongal as Bhogi second day they relax their time with drum beat dance. With several group they admonish their varieties of dance by both male & female groups. They use to visit all streets of Paralakhemundi which attracted locals to enjoy their dance. All these 3 days they are free from all regular work with their cultural fiascos that vibrate throughout horizon. They also honor to those contributors who pay for their song & dance.
