Koraput:On the 18th, 5790 voters will cast their ballots in 13 polling booths in Kotkar Panchayat’s Madkar, Fagunsineri, Ranasinghi, Tadibalasa, Tal Sambi, Upper Sambi, Barabandha, Thuria, Karanjguda, Taupadar, Matlamba, Kotia and Ganjaipadar. Today, polling parties have left the Pattangi block office to reach all these booths and reached various booths in Kotia panchayat. While the possibility of some obstacles to holding elections in Kotia panchayat cannot be ruled out, members of the polling party in Kotia are also seen to be scared and excited. Yesterday, District Magistrate Abdal Aktar Pattangi, along with BDO Soumya Sarthak Mishra, reached the hills and foothills of Kotia Valley and inspected the situation. The district magistrate asserted that the general administration and the police administration had made extensive preparations for holding free elections in the Kotia area. The district magistrate clarified that he had not received any order from the Supreme Court in this regard in response to a question from reporters about the petition filed by the Andhra Pradesh Supreme Court seeking exemption from the Andhra Pradesh election by some Andhra supporters.
