Police in Disguise when Forest Staff Sleeping

Paralakhemundi: Incidentally when forest department staff sleeping but round the clock patrolling of police, that marked at Kashinagar block of Gajapati district.

Surprisingly near RMC godown at Thakurani temple 18 pieces of wood were being carried in a cart.

At late night while patrolling Kashinagar Police led by Susant Sahu, IIC of Kashinagar police station, caught red handed that cart, immediately that cart mover fled away from the scene.

Ultimately Police seized those valuable wood pieces and handed over at forest range office of Kashinagar to forester in charge. As range office situated at Andhra border area so rampage of regular stealing of those costly wood a day to day affairs which indicate utter negligence of forest department to take action on such illegal transportation, nor to restore flora & faunna of forest environment. Need of action from DFO Gajapati is imminent citizens of area provoke.
