Police Destroy adulterated Food Products in Berhampur

Berhampur:In connection to Badabazar PS case No 17, 18, 20, 23 and 26 of 2021, prayer was made to SDJM Berhampur for passing orders for destruction of adulterated and unsafe food products (Tomato Sauce, Chili Sauce, Soya Sauce, Turmeric Powder, Chili Powder and Ghee which were seized in the month of January this year. The sample of the food products were sent to State Food Testing Laboratory Bhubaneswar. Opinion was received that the products are unsafe, misbranded.
After receipt of order from SDJM Berhampur the food products weighing 7230 KGs were destructed today at 11.30 AM at MGS Environ Private Limited Mahuda in presence of SDPO Berhampur, IIC Badabazar PS, Inspector Sanitary BeMC and Joint Asst. Director of State Pollution Control Board Berhampur.
