PMGSY A NOVICING CARE FOR PEDESTRIANS OF MOHANA AT GAJAPATI

GAJAPATI,(Mohana):Prime Minister Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) became a hue & cry for trespassers on their movement of recent road constructions at Mohana block of Gajapati.From state highway to Chandiput 7 kms & state highway to Landaguda 3kms.Road construction started on 18th September 2017 & completion on 17th September 2018.Despite short time of completion it is found less quality of construction works prevailing all danger for trespassers on regular communications.Allocated Budget of 155.03 lakhs for the construction work where reserved fund is 12 lakhs.3kms road is in dolldrum state & moreso by continuing or occasional rain road seems to be more aggravated & resulting as danger zone.That eclipsed from public to move in that road under PMGSY.On discussion Contractor viewed on lack of completion due to Lock Down where Asst Engineer of RD,on his version pointing to look after further repair work with reserve fund.Villagers of Lundurguda,Lundurguda(Nuasahi),Jadipadar,Chandiput like such 7 villages feeling reluctants to move on such danger zone.Ward Members Sabita Mallick,Prafulla Mallick,Sima Mallick,Kali Mallick,Santos Mallick, Bhakti Mallick,Runa Mallick & Pandaba Mallick extended their embarrassment & demanded quick repair of road for further damage on human lives & suspicious works.
