PM, MODI ADDRESS TOTHE NATION, ANNOUNCED LOCKDOWN TILL 3RD MAY

BHUBANESWAR:As expected, honorable PM, Narendra Modi in a address to Indiana,announced lockdown to be extended till3rd May and asked everyone to cooperate.

He assured the states those have strictly followed the lockdown and have control on covid-19 by 20th April may be allowed to let some activities to resume and may continue some essential services. He also focused on how India has managed this situation in a better way. Initially we have only one testing centre and now it has been increased to 220 labs which are working Pan India.

The Government will come out with new guidelines on Wednesday. He praised the citizen of this great country for their unconditional support they extended to make the lockdown successful despite all odds. They have enough problem, let it be getting proper food, other essential items and in commuting but they came hard on these problems and fought the battle a s soldiers. India was proactive in prevention, when country does not have a single corona patient, we begun screening passengers who were coming back from Covid-19 affected countries. He also went on saying that had India not adopted the integrated and sincere approach to fight corona, the situation in India would have been different and we could have more corona patients like many other countries having huge covid patients. For this cause no doubt we had paid a huge economical cost but it can’t be compared with human lives we saved. He thanks the countrymen for a splendid job they have done in the first lockdown he announced.
