Philanthropic Gesture by Gajapati Collector

Paralakhemundi:A labourer named Safin Mallick of Damadua under Adava police limits was going to Kerala for his earnings by train. Unfortunately while getting down from train he suddenly slipped under train wheel at Chennai railway station.As a result he was seriously injured. Meanwhile his family members were informed & they brought from Chennai railway station by ambulance to Brahmapur by paying 48000.Later on family applied for district administration support. That reached at Lingaraj Panda Collector Gajapati’s notice, he immediately instructed to help the victim. Subsequently a team from Mohana CHC met with Safin family. His leg has to be extracted at Brahmapur medical hospital.Now free treatment are in support for Safin.7000 rupees of ex-gratia sanctioned to his family. Family conveyed gratitude to Lingaraj Panda,Collector Gajapati.
