PEO Suspended on Illegal Theft of his Colleague

Paralakhemundi-A PEO(panchayat extension officer)of Gajapati district stolen more than lakhs of rupees from another PEO’s residence.
On an information received, one Nibesh Pani PEO of Birikote of Mohana block visited residence of his colleague of Raipanka panchayat, Khageswar Bhuyan. Lured him on friendship, Nibesh stolen 1.20 lakhs cash from Khageswar’s residence.
After acknowledged on such theft, latter reported on written to BDO, GPEO & later at Mohana police station.Enquiry is going on at police station. Meanwhile that PEO Nibesh was suspended by Gajapati district administration.
