SAMBALPUR:On the allegation of acquisition and possession of disproportionate assets by Dillip Kumar Patel, Executive Officer, Brajarajnagar Municipality, Dist-Jharsuguda his Govt. Residential quarter as Executive Officer, Brajarajnagar Municipalty located at Municipalty Colony, Jharsuguda, one Double storied residential building located at his native village-Belmunda, P.S.-Kolabira, Dist-Jharsuguda, Residential double storied building of Sri Patel located at Mouza-Unit-3, Debadihi, Jharsuguda Town,Petrol Pump of his relative located at Samasingha, PS-Kolabira, Dist-Jharsuguda,His father-in-law’s house located at Vill-Kadobahal, Jharsuguda,)His office chamber located in the premises of Brajarajnagar Municpality were simultaneously searched on Wednesday by the Expert Officers of Vigilance wing of Sambalpur Division on the strength of Search Warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Sambalpur to find out assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
During search, the team found movable and immovable assets in possession of Sri Dillip Kumar Patel in his name and in the name of his family members traced so far .
According to Vigilance Official; Immovable assets like one triple storied building, one RCC roof building, one Petrol pump under construction and 14 nos. of plots at Jharsuguda worth of Rs.2,31,62,208.00/-.
Besides the above, movable assets like, costly household articles, furnitures, electrical/electronic gadgets, gold and silver ornaments, one Maruti Sias Car, 2 nos. of Motor Cycle worth Rs. 21,79,730.00 deposits in different Banks Rs. 59,85,988.00 , Hard Cash of Rs. 22,54,715.00 etc. have been detected.
he total movable and immovable assets so far detected during house search is calculated at Rs. 3,35,82,641.00 (Three Crore thirty five lakhs eighty two thousand six hundred forth one) only approximately. The documents relating to assets, income and expenditure taken charge during house search are under scrutiny..
