Berhampur: Paralakhemundi king and two-time MP Gopinath Gajapati Narayan Deo passed away at Applo hospital in state capital Bhubaneswar today at 04.20AM. He was 76.
According to sources, he was undergoing treatment at a due to protracted illnesses and was suffering from heart-related ailments.
Narayan Deo, was born on March 6, 1943 and was a member of the 9th and 10th Lok Sabha of India. He represented the Berhampur constituency and was a member of the Indian National Congress political party. He later joined BJP and shifted to Biju Janata Dal in 2009.
