Paralakhemundi- On Sunday evening a massive gathering stimulated at Utkal Hiteishini Samaj conference hall,the iconic personality, Purnachandra Mahapatra, research scholar for his book “Paralara Lalam Bharatara Prathama Swadhinata Sangram(1767-1834)”. Spoke as chief guest MP Chandrasekhar Sahu reinstated to publish in English & Hindi of this book to keep in Parliament Library. This book is undoubtedly a vital cog to prove through more publicity in state level & to be acknowledged on wider range. On launching of this book MP Sahu accomplished as best script to garner on coming generations to sip its importance. Organized by Sidhant organization,on reply writer of the book Purnachandra Mahapatra declared that about 18 freedom fighters hanged during freedom movement. They were from grassroots of undivided Ganjam district. Columnist also quipped that thrice martial law enacted for freedom revolt in Parala soil. Prof. Bipin Nayak extoled that evidence is a creamylayer where various references scripted as collection by Mahapatra on his book.Prof.Ajay Tripathy extoled that every page is an instinct to know more about freedom fighters role to fight against French & Britishers. Among others Tirthabasi Panda, Bichitrananda Bebarta, Bharat Bhusan Mahanty, Dr. Kalyani Mishra, Asalata Panigrahi spoke on the occasion.
