PADDY PROCUREMENT COLLECTION THROUGH MANDI LAUNCHED IN GAJAPATI

Paralakhemundi:At RMC of Paralakhemundi, purchase of procured paddy from farmers launched. On such inaugural ceremony Sub-Collector Paralakhemundi Sangram Sekhar Panda graced on the occasion. He requested farmers to take their genuine fixed price of paddy on selling. He assured those farmers will follow norms to bring procured paddy with cleaning & dry quality one.
On 19th December campaign through mobile vehicle launched by Collector Anupam Saha,on procured paddy selling at Mandi to sensitize farmers.36,417 matric ton of paddy will be collected during 2020-21 Kharif season where 24.400 matric ton of rice to be collected from Gajapati district. Per quintal for FAQ Rs.1868 & Grade A of FAQ 1888 fixed. From those 16,078 registered farmers, paddy will be collected. Supported by RMC,local Cooperative Societies can mobilize those farmers to stock at nearest Mandi.
Sub-Collector Mr.Panda also checked those equipments like weighing machine,Paddy moisture meter,enlist dial meter, quality assessed meter, dust extracted machine & other requisites. Registered farmers are advised to start their transportation at Mandi soon after getting tokens instead of facing crowd pulling jinx.
Among others CSO Anadi Charan Sethy, ACSOs Satrughan Giri & Manoj Das, Secretary of RMC Ladi Raghubabu,Deputy Asst.Registrar Narayan Sethy,members of various cooperative societies & farmers of Gosani,Gumma, Kashinagar blocks were present on the occasion.
