Over 1Kg Brown Sugar Seized by Crime Branch (STF), One held

Bhubaneswar: In a major crackdown by Odisha police on drugs peddling, the Special Task Force (STF) of the Crime Branch seized Brown sugar from a peddler.
According to a Senior STF official, on the basis of intelligence input red was conducted near Kaipadar – Khurda bypass national highway regarding illegal trade transportation of narcotic drugs as a result which one person sheikh Anwar @ Pintu S/o.Tanvir of Muslim street was apprehended under Khurdha Sadar PS limit. During the search brown sugar 1 kg.310Gms and other incriminating materials were recovered from his possession.
As the accused person could not able to produce any valid authority in support of possession of such contraband material for which the accused person was arrested by STF Thursday and will be forwarded to the court .The investigation is still on
