Berhampur: An exquisite personality Santanu Kumar Padhi, born under the lap of Late Gopinath Padhi, an eminent Advocate at Paralakhemundi. With utmost discipline nurtured by his father and imprint from his Grand Father Late Sadananda Padhi, too,a respected personality for his sincerity and dedication as Retd.Joint Director of Industries, followed their footprints to build his career in Police department.
Mr.Padhi, after completion of M.Com from Khallikote College Berhampur, joined as SI in Police, Govt of Odisha in the year 1984.
At various places like Ganjam, Nabarangpur, Kandhamal and Boudh he flared his dignity. His journey as a sincere officer in a discipline Dept.which brought him as citadel to promote in the rank as Inspector during 2003.At Kandhamal Maoist area and Ganjam his prolific commendable contributions, too, honoured as Best Police Officer while at Ganjam district. Further he went on proved all his charismatic credibility’s and reached to DSP Cadre and served at Ganjam & Kendrapara districts on 2011.On 2018 he has been transferred to Vigilance department as Addl.SP at Berhampur Vigilance Division.Scenerios flagged his strong commitment to ransack corrupted officers on their accumulated disproportionate assets from Kandhamal, Ganjam and Gajapati districts on his whirlwind actions.
That proved his enigmatic administration which paved him to stake as SP of his own Brahmapur Vigilance Division since 1st March.
Within 24 hours of his holistic promotion cordoned to custody to K.Nageswar Senapati,JE of Rayagada block of Gajapati for his movable and immovable assets of 2 Crs as a daredevil venture by detecting at 6 places like Ganjam, Gajapati & Khurda districts.
Being a stubborn to believe on honesty he pointed that his mission will be non-stop on any dishonesty from any wings either government line departments staff or individuals will go on open their under current tainted assets & strangulate them.
Notably, various corners compliments flowing for him for his astute position as SP,from Gajapati and Ganjam districts for his new position.
