ONLY BRANDED SANITISERS WITH GOVERNMENT-MARKING SHOULD BE SOLD

DELHI: There are reports that with heavy demand of sanitizers during corona-spread many spurious sanitizers are being sold now not only on footpaths and street vendors but even in general and medicine shops at prices even lower than the manufacturing (rather raw material) cost of the actual sanitizers. These sanitizers especially the alcohol-based sanitizers damage skin badly even on single use. Central government should ensure that sanitizers only with some government-certification like from Bureau of Indian Standards may only be allowed to be sold.
