One succumbed to collision between trolley & goods train in Rayagada and two injured
Rayagada (Badal Tah): An incident of entanglement of umbrella of a push trolley with moving wagon of a goods train occurred in the morning last Thursday. The trolley was between line No 4 and 5 at the yard and was not on any track.
Unfortunately, one contractual labourer got hit by the goods train and expired. One labourer and one trolley man sustained minor injuries. They were admitted at a nearby hospital and later got discharged after due medical attention.
Senior railway officials visited the site immediately to enquire into the incident and suitable compensation was provided by the contractor.
