ONE HARDCORE ABSCONDING DRUG PEDDLER APPREHENDED

Bhubaneswar:On the basis of intelligence input, a team of STF, Odisha Police conducted raid and apprehended one hardcore absconding drug peddler namely Sk Jamshed @ Jamal S/o. Sk Mamtaj of Haladipadia Basti, PS. Laxmisagar Dist. Khordha wanted in STF PS case No. 05/2022 U/s. 21(c)/29 NDPS Act, 1985.
In this case, on 20.02.2022, contraband brown sugar 1227 grams, One Pulsar M/c and other incriminating materials were seized from the possession of accused persons earlier. The above apprehended accused was absconding since the occurrence. The accused has been arrested and will be forwarded to the court of Dist & Sessions Judge-cum-Spl. Judge, Bhubanswar today i.e. 22.4.2022. Investigation is on.
He was also involved in STF case no 01/2022 in which more than 3 Kg of Brown sugar, Rs 65+ lakh cash and many arms/ammunition were seized in Nayagadh.
The above noted accused was a noted drug peddler against whom the following cases are pending;
1. STF PS Case No. 01/2022 U/s.21©/29 NDPS Act, 1985 r/w. Sec.25/27 Arms Act.
2. STF PS case No. 05/2022 U/s. 21(c)/29 NDPS Act, 1985
3. Balianta PS Case No. 194 dated 3.7.2021 U/s. 21© NDPS Act,1985.
4. Lalbag PS Case No. 22/2020 U/s. 21d(b) NDPS Act, 1985
