One Arrested on Witch Suspicion Killing in Gajapati

Paralakhemundi-At Gajapati district one person arrested on killing an youth on witch suspicion. As per information received at Jatingi village under Adava police limits one Simon Majhi(45)on 19th December along with his associate Arun attended a feast. Arun returned to his village but Simon did not return. While interacted on Siman by his family to Arun he ignored about him replied.
So on suspicion Simon’s brother Damburu writ a petition at Adava police station against Arun. So Arun has been taken under custody on interrogations he showed the spot at Harabhangi dam where he killed Simon. With bloodshed filled dead body of Simon seized & a mobile set too seized. Scientific team reached at spot for investigation.
As per prior incident on February 2021 one attempt of killing made & police arrested one person. Later on Dambarudhar family had conflict by him. IIC Adava Subhrant Kumar Panda said that the accused has been arrested & forwarded to court.
