ONE ARRESTED ON MISDEMEANOUR CHARGES

Koraput:It is learned that Joseph Khara of Haldisil area under Dashmantapur police station was arrested and taken to court on a misdemeanor charge at Koraput town police station.  He had an affair with Joseph Khara of Haldisil area under Dashmantapur police station, who was working in a salon at the Koraput bus stand.  Joseph lived in a rented house in Vandisahi.  The young lady became pregnant 2 months after having an affair between the two.  As the young woman insisted on going out, Joseph went to his village and hid.  Disappointed, the young woman lodged a written complaint with the police on March 8.  Koraput Town Police have registered a case under case no. 54/22 and arrested the accused under Section 37 (2) (N), 419, 506 of the IPC and the accused was arraigned in court yesterday, said Town Police IIC Dhiren Patnaik.  Both appear to have undergone medical treatment.
