ODISHA,CM NAVEEN PATNAIK INAUGURATED PLASMA BANK AT SLN MCH KORAPUT THROUGH VIRTUAL MODE.

KORAPUT:Further strengthening preparedness against COVID19, CM Naveen Patnaik, Odisha has inaugurated PlasmaBank at SLN MCH, Koraput through virtual mode.

CM said, the plasma bank will not only set a new milestone but also strengthen the faith of tribal communities on advanced medical procedure. 

CM said plasma will be more easily available & accessible to all needy COVID19 patients in Odisha. CM said this is in line with Govt’s vision of enabling access to advanced healthcare for all & commitment to ensure nobody is deprived of advanced healthcare facilities.

Citing that plasma is showing good results in patients, CM reiterated his appeal to all eligible Covid survivors to come forward to donate plasma to save precious lives. CM said each donor is recognised as a worthy citizen of Odisha as Odisha Cares.

Inauguration meeting presided over by the Koraput collector cum DM Madhusudan Mishra, ST/SC Minister Jagannath Sarka, Handloom & Textile Minister Padmini Dian, Jaypur MLA Taraprasad Bahini Pati, Koraput MLA & DPC-Chairman Raghuram Padal. Nabarangpur Collector Ajit Mishra, Diben Pradhan, ADM, Koraput,  DRDA project Director Prabir Nayak, Makarand Beura CDMO Koraput, Lalit Kumar Kahar, sub-collector, District level officers and senior leaders and media personalities were the witness of the said program.

The state-of-the-art PGI machine has been brought in from Chandigarh. Raigarh. Nabarangpur. Malkangiri district’s health system will be improved.

On the opening day of Plasma Bank in Koraput district, Vishnu Garda from Mathalput of Damanjodi  area and Laxman Patra from Bhejaput have donated plasma to four peoples.
