Odisha Startup Xpress to Kick Off from Friday to Foster Entrepreneurship Among school Students

Startup Yatra Receives a Total of 360+ Pitches from 39 Colleges in Three Days
Bhubaneswar, 14th September 2023: Odisha Startup Xpress, a flagship initiative of the Government of Odisha, is set to kick off in various schools in the Khordha district starting on Friday. Xpress Vans will visit a total of 60+ schools across 30 districts of Odisha to guide and empower young minds in the realms of innovation and entrepreneurship at the grassroots level.
Startup Yatra 2023, continuing its remarkable tour, visited several institutions in Khordha with enthusiastic participation from over 1384 students, resulting in the generation of 130+ innovative ideas from 13 colleges. Within three days of the Startup Yatra’s commencement, it has received an overwhelming 360+ ideas from Khordha District, laying a solid foundation for the State Government’s ambition of creating 5,000 Startups by 2025.
After a remarkable beginning, Startup Yatra today visited thirteen eminent institutes in and around Khordha, including CV Raman Global University, GITA, Gandhi Engineering College, Birla Global University, STPI, OUTR University, IMI Bhubaneswar, CTTC, CIPET, GIET (Baniatangi), NIIS, IITTM, and GIET (Gothapatana).
The excitement and enthusiasm from the student community were palpable in their passionate pitches.
The aim of Startup Odisha Yatra and Startup Xpress 2023 is to encourage grassroots innovators and promote entrepreneurship among them. In the 2023 edition of the Yatra, Startup Odisha has four dedicated vans that will cover all 30 districts of the state.
As we move forward, the Xpress Vans will cover ten schools in the Khordha district. On the fourth day, the Startup Xpress Van will reach Kendriya Vidyalaya Jatni (Khurda Road), Doon International School, DAV – Kalinga Nagar, Apeejay School, Prabhujee School, KV – 1 (Janpath), Capital Boys High School, Mother’s Public School, ODM Global School, and St. Xavier’s International School.
