Odisha Police Celebrates 90 Years of Excellence in Law Enforcement

Cuttack : The 90th Formation Day of Odisha Police was celebrated all over the state, showcasing a significant milestone in the state’s law enforcement legacy.
At Cuttack, the event witnessed the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including DGP YB Khuraania, who delivered an inspiring speech. He underscored the crucial role of crime prevention and swift action against perpetrators in maintaining public safety.
Addressing the growing threat of cybercrime, the DGP emphasized the efforts being made to combat this modern-day challenge. As part of the initiative, police officials have been equipped with advanced laptops and smartphones, empowering them to respond promptly and conduct more efficient investigations.
Police Commissioner Suresh Devadatta Singh expressed his confidence in the Odisha Police personnel, praising their determination and willpower. He believes these attributes will lead to greater success in preventing crimes and upholding peace in the future.
This event was observed at Biju Patnaik State Police Academy, Bhubaneswar. A ceremonial Parade was organised by Dy. SP Probationers & Cadet Sub-Inspectors of the Academy.
