JHARSUGUDA: The Jharsuguda police registered a case against Deepali Das, the daughter of Health Minister of Odisha Mr Naba Kishore Das, for allegedly violating COVID-19 guidelines.
Jharsuguda SP Rahul PR said a case has been registered against Deepali Das and other following a complaint filed by the Municipality Executive Officer.
Basis on the complaint, during a function to felicitate corona warriors at the DRDA conference hall on June 22, Deepali Das and some other persons present and she did not maintain social distancing norms(!).
On the other side, Deepali has cleared the air stating that she will respect the law and continue to work for the people of Jharsuguda and that the people present their objected without any reason.
