Odisha govt to work out ‘Utkala Investors’ Summit’ to attract global investors: Industry Minister

Bhubaneswar : Odisha government is set to work out ‘Utkala Investors’  Summit’ to attract global investors, said Industry Minister Sampad Chandra Swain on Friday.

Addressing a council meeting of the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) Swain said that the ‘Make in Odisha’ Conclave meant to attracting global investors from across the world to the Odisha soil, is likely to be rebranded. 

The new nomenclature might be “Utkala Investors’ Summit, Swain added.

Swain also said that the state government is working out on policies for global capitals to the tune of Rs 2.5 lakh crore including the domestic investment at the proposed ‘Utkala Investors’ Summit’. 

Apart from it, the industries department will robust the FDI inflows of over USD 2 million, Swain added.
