ODISHA GOVT DECLARED ALL STUDENTS FROM CLASS I-VIII AS ‘ALL PASS’

Bhubaneswar: Keeping in concern the future of students due to COVID-19 situation, Odisha government declared the students of Classes I-VIII in the state-run schools as ‘all pass’.

“All the students except Class-IX are declared to have passed without annual examinations this academic session due to COVID-19 situation,” said School & Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash.

As the examination of one paper of Class-IX is yet to be held, the decision on the particular Class will be taken by the department after overcoming the situation arising out of Coronavirus.

He further stated, the answer sheets of the students who have appeared in the Matriculation Examination-2020 and annual Plus II Examinations are safe.

He has directed the collectors of all the districts to convert the schools into quarantines if necessary.
