ODISHA GOVT.AFFECTS MAJOR IPS RESHUFFLE

BHUBANESWAR:The Odisha Government today effected a major reshuffle in the senior IPS cadre by changing the portfolio of at least 16 officers, according to a notification issued by the Home Department.

M Akhaya, IPS (RR-1988), who recently returned from Central deputation, has been appointed as CMD, POH & WC.Satyajit Mohanty, IPS (RR-1988), who is posted as Director, Intelligence, has been appointed as the DG, FS & CG, HG.Lalit Das, IPS, (RR-1992), who is posted as CMD, POH&WC, has been appointed as the ADGP Communication.RK Sharma, IPS (RR-1995), who is posted as Special Director, Intelligence, has been appointed as the Director, Intelligence’s K Priyadarshi, IPS (RR-1995), who is posted as ADGP, L&O, has been appointed as the ADGP, CID CB.Praveen Kumar, IPS (RR-2002), who is posted as IGP, Personnel, has been appointed as the IGP, L&O.Anup Kumar Sahoo (RR-2006), who is posted as Addl, Commissioner of Police, has been appointed as the DIG, Intelligence.Dr Sarthak Sarangi, IPS (RR-2007), who is posted as SP, Vigilance, has been appointed as the SP, CID, CB.Dr Umashankar Das, IPS (RR-2008), who is posted as SP, Puri, has been appointed as the DCP Bhubaneswar.Akhileshvar Singh, IPS (RR-2009), who is posted as DCP, Cuttack, has been appointed as the SP,  Puri.Sarah Sharma, IPS (RR-2010), who is posted as SP, Gajapati, has been appointed as the Vigilance Organisation.Prateek Singh, IPS (RR-2014), who is posted as SP, Kandhamal, has been appointed as the DCP, Cuttack.Vinit Agarwala, IPS (RR-2016), who is posted as SP, Nuapada, has been appointed as the SP, Kandhamal.Sagarika Nath, IPS (RR-2016),  who is posted as DCP, Traffic, has been appointed as the SP, Sundergarh.Soumya Mishra, IPS (RR-2014), who is posted as SP, Sundergarh, has been appointed as the DCP, Traffic.Rahul Jain, IPS (RR-2015), who is posted as SP, Deogarh, has been appointed as the SP, Nuapada.SC Jamadar, OPS, who is posted as AIG, HQ, has been appointed as the SP, Deogarh.Tapan Kumar Patnaik, OPS, who is posted as SP, CIDCB, has been appointed as the SP, Gajapati.
