Odisha Governor Hon’ble Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati Visits Paradip Port
PARADIP : The Hon’ble Governor of Odisha, Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati, made his first visit to Paradip Port, marking a significant moment for the port’s community. Arriving at 3:20 PM, he was warmly greeted at the PPA Administrative Building by Shri P.L. Haranadh, the Chairman of Paradip Port Authority (PPA), along with other senior officials. As soon as the Governor stepped in, he was honored with a ceremonial guard of honor by the CISF unit stationed at the port. Adding a touch of local charm, a group of NCC alumni from the Port Trust High School’s Naval NCC Wing welcomed him with flowers, showcasing the community’s pride in his visit. The atmosphere was filled with a sense of accomplishment and optimism.
During his visit, Chairman Haranadh took the opportunity to brief the Governor on the port’s remarkable journey of growth. He highlighted the cutting-edge infrastructural and technological advancements that have transformed Paradip into a modern hub of trade and commerce. To further his support for the port’s green initiatives, he participated in a tree plantation drive near Gate No. 3, symbolizing his commitment to a cleaner and greener Paradip. Dr. Kambhampati expressed his appreciation for the port’s developmental works and the world-class infrastructure it offers.
