Odisha Extends e-KYC Deadline for Ration Cardholders Till December 31, 2025

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has extended the deadline for completing Aadhaar-based e-KYC of Public Distribution System (PDS) beneficiaries till December 31, 2025, to ensure that no eligible household is excluded from availing food grains under welfare schemes.

The Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Department issued a notification on Saturday announcing the extension.

Food grains are distributed to beneficiaries under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) and the State Food Security Scheme (SFSS) through the extensive PDS network across Odisha.Officials said the e-KYC process is being conducted at 11,827 fair price shops statewide. Beneficiaries can also complete the verification at ration card management centres in all 314 blocks and 64 municipal offices.

The department urged all eligible beneficiaries who have not yet completed the process to do so within the revised timeline to avoid disruption in ration supply.
