Odisha effects major IPS reshuffle, 3 officers promoted to DIG rank

Bhubaneswar, Dec 30: The Odisha Government on Friday effected a major reshuffle in the IPS cadre in different ranks. 

As per the notification issued by the GA & PG Department, three IPS officers- Akhileswar Singh, Brijesh Kumar Rai and Charansingh Meena, have been promoted to the grade of DIG of Police with effect from January 1.

Details are as follows:

Akhileswar Singh, IPS (RR-2009), at present SP, Jagatsinghpur on being promoted to the grade of DIG of Police, is transferred and posted as DIG, SAP.

Brijesh Kumar Rai, IPS (RR-2009), at present SP, Ganjam on being promoted to the grade of DIG of Police, is transferred and posted as DIG, Angul.

Charansingh Meena, IPS (RR-2009), at present SP, Bhadrak on being promoted to the grade of DIG of Police, is transferred and posted as DIG Fire Service and Home Guards.

Sudhanshu Shekhar Mishra, IPS (RR-2012), at present SP, Balasore is transferred and posted as SP, Angul.

Rahul PR, IPS (RR-2013), at present SP, Jajpur is transferred and posted as SP, Jagatsinghpur.

Jagmohan Meena, IPS (RR-2013), at present SP, Angul is transferred and posted as SP, Ganjam.

L Divya, IPS (RR-2013), at present SP, Dhenkanal is transferred and posted as SP, Vigilance.

Pratyush Diwakar, IPS (RR-2015) at present SP, Nuapada is transferred and posted as SP, Sundargarh.

Vinit Agarwal, IPS (RR-2016) at present SP, Kandhamal is transferred and posted as SP, Jajpur.

Varun Guntupalli, IPS (RR-2016) at present SP, Koraput is transferred and posted as SP, Bhadrak.

Sagarika Nath, IPS (RR-20I6) at present SP, Sundargarh is transferred and posted as SP, Balasore.

Gundala Reddy R, IPS (RR-2019) at present SDPO, Baliguda is transferred and posted as SP, Nuapada.

Suvendu Patra, IPS (RR-2019) at present SDPO, Malkangiri is transferred and posted as SP, Kandhamal.

Abhinav Sonkar, IPS (RR-2019) at present SDPO, Kesinga is transferred and posted as SP, Koraput.

Gyana Ranjan Mohapatra, OPS at present SP, Special Branch is transferred and posted as SP, Dhenkanal.
