Odisha Deputy CM Pravati Parida’s Five-District Tour To Begin Today

Bhubaneswar : Odisha’s Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida will embark on a five-day tour across five districts — Koraput, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Balangir, and Sonepur — starting today. The visit aims to assess the progress of various development initiatives, with a special focus on women and child welfare programs. Deputy CM Parida will inspect development works in the strategically important Kotia region and review the implementation of the Subhadra Yojana, a flagship welfare scheme for women. Parida will also participate in the ceremonial distribution of the third installment under the Subhadra Yojana in Koraput on Rakhi Purnima. The event is expected to witness large participation from Mission Shakti members and women beneficiaries.

During her tour, the Deputy CM will conduct detailed evaluations of:

– Women and Child Development

– Mission Shakti

– Tourism Initiatives

She will also meet with local officials and stakeholders to discuss the status of ongoing and upcoming projects in each district.
