Odisha CM asks Collectors to erase illegal encroachments
Bhubaneswar : Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday instructed District Collectors to erase illegal encroachments on government lands throughout the state. He mandated the removal of these encroachments in both urban and rural areas.
CM Majhi emphasized that government lands are primarily intended for development and public welfare projects. Unauthorized occupation hinders progress, and therefore, these illegal encroachments must be promptly cleared.
In compliance with the law, after the removal of encroachments, it has been ordered that the lands be fenced and signboards be erected in a manner that ensures they are clearly visible to everyone.
