ODISHA CHIEF MINISTER APPROVED 36 MORE POLICE STATIONS

Bhubaneswar: To boost better policing across the State, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik approved establishment of 36 new police stations for quick and improved service delivery in handling law and order situations, and also directed that these be made functional at the earliest.
As many as 563 new posts will be created as part of the endeavour. The decision was taken considering the rising population and security requirements of the administration.
