Odisha BJP MLA Bishnu Sethi Passes Away

Bhubaneswar: Senior BJP leader and Dhamnagar MLA Bishnu Sethi passed away on Monday at the age of 61 years.
Sethi breathed his last while undergoing treatment at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar, informed the medical’s Superintendant Satchidananda Mohanty.He was put under intensive care at the premier hospital for the last one month after suffering from kidney complications.
Odisha Governor Prof Ganeshi La his grief over the demise, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan, Baijayant Panda,Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and other leaders condoled the demise of the veteran politician.
Bishnu Sethi was suffering from kidney-related ailments and undergoing treatment at AIIMS here.
He breathed his last while being treated at the ICU of the hospital today. He was 61.
Sethi was the Deputy Leader of Opposition in the Odisha Legislative Assembly and Vice President of BJP’s Odisha unit.
He was elected to the Assembly from Dhamnagar constituency in 2019 and Chandbali constituency in 2000.
