Odisha based Physicians at USA & Rashtriya Pravasi Odia Pariwar Provided Oxygen Concentrators to Odisha

Jajpur:Through their Breathe India ACT Foundation campaign which was launched by Dr. Tapti Panda and Dr. Rajan Subbiahin a mission at supply of oxygen concentrators to India during the second outbreak of COVID-19 , the team has provided the first batch to Odisha . After witnessing the pandemic in New York and given the gravity of the second wave, they wanted to focus on supplying of free oxygen concentrators to Odisha as it is the home state of Dr. Panda.
This campaign is being supported by the volunteers of Rashtriya Prabasi Odia Paribar (RPOP) volunteers lead by the President , General Secretary and National Convener of RPOP.
The campaign procured oxygen concentrators directly from manufacturers outside India and distributed the first batch donation of 5L concentrators. These efforts are to help mild to moderate COVID patients and for those that can be cared at home post discharge.
These Concentrators have been distributed to the Sparsh COVID hospital, Sikh Aid, Nayagarh COVID center, various frontline doctors of Angul, Burla, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Swasthya Swaraj at Bhawanipatna and also to the Odisha Society of Americas‘ oxygen shelter.
The second wave of the COVID pandemic has impacted all of us. Most of our lives have been changed day by day wherethis fundraiser campaign able to be apart of new thoughts through the compassionate donations from US residents, healthcare workers, and families and friends of the campaign team.
The campaign team is especially grateful to CrystalRun healthcare where Dr. Panda and Dr. Subbiah the two eminent Odian Physician works in here .
Mr. Pinak Dash and Mr. Rishi Das from California also have joined the Breathe India team and have shown their solidarity in support of oxygen concentrators.
The Breathe India campaign aims to send their second and third batch of concentrators to Odisha, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh very soon as well to extend a support to the system during this crisis.
