NTPC TALCHER KANIHA SUPPORTS OLD AGE HOME & ORPHANAGE

TALCHER:In view of outbreak of Novel Coronavirus, which has crippled livelihoods and modes of sustenance for many, NTPC Talcher Kaniha came in support of vulnerable communities in the vicinity of its Station. Under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the Station contributed essential grocery items to Navjeevan community center in Angul district on April 5, 2020.

A team of CSR officials comprising of Shri Dhaneswar Naik and Shri Bhismadev Nayak visited the centre and distributed grocery items like rice, dal, vegetables, oil, etc. to the residents. Navjeevan community is an NGO that houses over 70 orphange children and senior citizens. The distributed items are expected to provide for the daily meal requirement for over 2 weeks. NTPC Talcher Kaniha has come in help and assistance of many such communities around its Plant area and continues to do so.
