NTPC Swayamsiddha Ladies Club distributes grocery & food items to underprivileged tribal children and special children under National Nutrition Month

Ranchi:Swayamsiddha Ladies Club , NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters distributed essential food items at Adim Jati Sewa Mandal, Ranchi, home for underprivileged tribal children and physically challenged children as part of the observation of National Nutrition Month being celebrated during the month of September 2022.
The ladies club and its members distributed food items (rice, dal, vegetable oil, pulses, health drink, fruits etc.) under its CSR initiative to create awareness of proper nutrition through distribution. The generosity & voluntarily contribution from each and every club member made the event special and a grand success.
On this occasion, Smt. Mahua Mazumder, President, Swayamsiddha Ladies Club interacting with children shared the importance of food with nutritional values for maintaining a healthy and balanced life.
Smt. Mazumder emphasized that children have a dream in life & chase after it to progress in life. She personally enquired from children about their dreams & aspirations in life and encouraged them to work hard to become successful in life.
The initiative of the Ladies club was appreciated by the beneficiaries. On this occasion, Vice Presidents of Ladies Club, Smt. Sanchita Konar, Smt. Adilakshmi Murthy, Smt. Kiran Dubey & Smt. Smitha Wilson, General Secretary, other committee members & general members of Swayamsiddha Ladies Club, Office bearers from Adim Jati Sewa Mandal, Shri Ajay Kumar Shrivastava & Shri Vikas Kumar Sinha were also present on the occasion.
