NTPC Kaniha is celebrating the Nine-days Rath Yatra festival with great enthusiasm and cultural fervour.

The cultural programme organised on 14th July 2024 was graced by the presence of Hon’ble MP, Dhenkanal, Shri Rudra Narayan Pany and Hon’ble MLA, Pallahara, Shri Ashok Mohanty.

The event witnessed a vibrant cultural programme which showcased the rich traditions and heritage associated with the Rath Yatra. The performances included traditional dance forms, music and drama which enthralled the audience and highlighted the cultural diversity of the region.

special highlight of the event was the release of a souvenir by the dignitaries. The souvenir commemorates the event and contains articles, photographs and messages which depict the significance of Rath Yatra and NTPC Kaniha’s commitment to cultural preservation.

Head Of Project Shri Ashok Kumar Sehgal, All GMs, Head of HR, President Tanvi Sangam, Secretary & office bearers of Rath Yatra Committee and representatives of unions and associations along with employees, women and residents of the township were present on the occasion.

NTPC Kaniha is committed to preserve and promote cultural heritage through such events and foster a sense of community and togetherness among its employees and the local populace.
