NTPC Coal Mining Projects honours Nurses on International Nurses Day

 Ranchi: May 21st is celebrated every year as the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birthday as International Nursing day. Florence Nightingale is considered to be the world’s first nurse.

The days is a tribute to commemorate and show respect to the indomitable courage and commendable work of the nurses and their contribution during the tough times of Covid epidemic.

On the occasion of the International Nurses Day celebration at NTPC Taliapalli Coal Mine Project at its Health Center and Community Health Center Gharghoda,Raigarh,Chattisgarh. Nurses and Paramedical staff was felicitated by Shri Ramesh Kher, Chief General Manager, NTPC Talipali.Dr. S. Pankera Block Medical Officer Gharghoda, Mr Rohit Pal Deputy General Manager Human Resources, Dr. Anil Pandey, Medical Officer were present on the occasion.

Similarly, International Nurses Day was observed at Pakri Barwadih Coal Mining Project to felicitate Nurses and paramedical staff posted at Dispensary Centre,Sikri, Hazaribag.On the occasion CMO,Shri Kabibar Pradhan briefed about the importance of the day and encouraged to continue the good work done by the frontline workers during the pandemic.
