NTPC Coal Mining HQ created awareness on “No Plastic Use” as part of Swacchta Pakhwada

Ranch:NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters, Ranchi today as part of observation of Swachhata Pakhwada from 16th to 31st May,2022 to create awareness on “no use of plastic bags” distributed cotton bags among vegetables and fruits vendors around its office campus.
On the occasion, Shri Wilson Abraham, Head of HR interacted with the vendors and distributed the cotton bags to promote the use of environment friendly bags in place of plastic bags for distribution of vegetables and fruits among the customers as the use of plastic has drastic consequences over the environment and our health.
Shri Tanmoy Dutta, AGM(HR), Shri Y Debasish, DGM(HR) and Shri Amit Kumar Behera, Sr Manager (Corporate Communication ) were also present during the distribution program.
NTPC Coal Mining HQ during the fortnight celebration of Swacchta Pakhwada has organized various events competition like Essay ,Painting and Elocution competition ,cleanliness drive i.e Best Clean Office Desk for employees , cleanliness & hygiene promotion at colleges by Swayamsiddha Ladies Club etc.
