NTPC Coal Mining HQ celebrated World Environment Day
Ranchi : World Environment Day was celebrated at NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters/NML, Ranchi with mass fruit bearing saplings at the new campus of Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET), Ranchi.
The Mass Tree Plantation was conducted on World Environment Day on June 5,2024 in association with Swayamsiddha Ladies Club.
As part of commitment to environment protection and conservation, Smt Rekha Jain, President , Swayamsiddha Ladies Club initiated fruit bearing sapling plantation which was followed by Smt Shika Rastogi, Vice President, ,Smt Sunita Pandey, Senior Member, General Secretary, Smt Mansa Verma, Joint Secretary, Deepa Kumari, Treasurer, Smt Snigdha Rani Manjhi and Smt Sapna Pareek & other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
Mass plantation drive was participated by students cum Project Affected persons (PAPs) in large numbers from NTPC Coal Mining projects of Pakri Barwadih,Chattibariatu ,Kerendari ,Badam, Banardih,Dulanga and Talaipalli Coal Mining Projects.
These students are currently undergoing skill development training on plastic processing courses at CIPET which is sponsored by NTPC under its corporate social responsibility.
