The Smart India Hackathon is a national initiative that encourages technological innovation and problem-solving skills among students. The competition involved multiple rounds, beginning with college-level screening, followed by national-level competition, and ultimately a face-off between the top 5 teams.
CYBER ARC – DEFENSIVE ARC OF CYBER WORLD is a project aimed at educating children about cyber hygiene. It includes antivirus and firewall protection, daily phone/PC usage summaries, spam message alerts, parental control, and email phishing attack detection. The project also features an Animated theme based on interactive short videos and social media tracking, and offers a subscription model for revenue and a security consulting model for services.
NMIMS is thrilled to have provided crucial support to their student’s team as they navigated the challenges of the Smart India Hackathon. From selecting a problem statement to developing a user-friendly and economically viable prototype, the team overcame numerous obstacles and successfully cleared the first two rounds. They completed the impact assessment, refined their prototype, validated its effectiveness, and prepared a presentation for future scalability.
“Our team owes a great deal of gratitude to NMIMS Mumbai and our mentors for their invaluable guidance throughout the roller coaster journey, which enabled us to secure a spot in the top 5 teams of Smart India Hackathon 2023,”said AgeyaJha, highlighting their journey through the competition.
“NMIMS continues to provide its students with access to industry experts, cutting-edge technologies, and opportunities to expand their knowledge in the ever-evolving field of Technology and Entrepreneurship.
