National Mathematics Day at MGHS

Paralakhemundi:On behalf of Ramanujam Mathematics Club, Paralakhemundi;on the eve of 135th Birthday of Srinivasa Ramanujam, National Mathematics Day observed at Mahendragiri Govt High School.Presided by Headmaster of the school Purnachandra Pradhan,Pradip Kumar Panda graced as Chief Guest where Asst. Professor of Mathematics of SKCGCollege Aswini Kumar Rout as Chief Speaker & Mamata Jena teacher of DIET as Guest of Honor graced on dias. Guests highlighted on Ramanujam’s contribution on simple arithmetics those inculcate the students to build interest to learn mathematics.Various methods which can be applied & for primary standard this can be practices to create interest on brainstorming of students.So to avoid jargons & create discipline on fundamental knowledge, can help more grasping power for students. Samples of few numbers like 1729 & 2520;which can be a part of knowing addition, substraction, multiplication & division. Among others teachers Sailendra Kumar Patra, Bishnupriya Padhi & student Srinibas Mahapatra who secured 99℅ in last +2 Science examination spoke on the occasion. Fecilitated by teacher Ramakant Patnaik, teacher Amulya Panigrahi conveyed vote of thanks.Since 2012 this club established to support inputs on regular practices of Mathematics for those students.On this occasion teacher Dhiren Kumar Patra honored by the guests for his deemed contribution on teachings.More than 80 teachers attended the meeting.
