Narcotic Drugs Peddler Apprehended

Bhubaneswar:On the basis of intelligence input, a raid was conducted by team of STF, BBSR on 12.01.2022 with the help Khodha Police in front of Haladia College, Khordha under Khordha Town PS against illegal transportation/possession of Narcotic Drugs and apprehended one accused person namely Rajkishore Sundray @ Gutu S/o. Rabindara Routray of Tangisahi, Gurujanga PS. Khordha Town Dist. Khordha.
During search Brown Sugar weighing 310 grm and other incriminating materials were recovered & seized from his possession. A case has been registered at Khordha Police Station for necessary legal action. This refers to Khordha Police Station Case No. 23/ 2022 U/s 21(c)/29of NDPS Act 1985. Investigation is on.
The above noted accused was earlier booked in similar case vide Khordha PS case No.50/2020 and was recently released on court bail.
Since 2020, STF in the special drive against narcotic drugs has seized more than 44 Kg of Brown Sugar/Heroin and more than 87 quintals of Ganja /Marijunaand arrested more than 121 drug dealers/peddlers.
