MUCH AWAITED PLASMA BANK IS INAUGURATED IN IGH

ROURKELA: Plasma therapy process is a successful therapy as practiced by Delhi Govt. in India which achieved much success and many other states are following the same.

In the process recently Naveen Patnaik, CM, Odisha has inaugurated plasma Bank in Bhubaneswar and had announced to open many more plasma banks to open int the state including Ispat General Hospital(IGH) in Rourkela. As per his statement today Naveen Patanik has inaugurated this centre in IGH through video conferencing which is a great help for the people of Sundergarh, one of the districts among few that has contributed corona patients in numbers. While inaugurating this system, many top ministers of the state along with other bureaucrats and local leaders were present and they are Smt.Tukuni Sahu, Minister for Women & Child & Development( Mission Shakti), Susanta Singh, Minister for Labour & Employees’ State Insurance,Rural Development, Niranjan Sahoo, RDC(Northern region), Sarada Nayak, Chairman, District Planning Commissioner, Sundergarh and MLA, Rourkela, Shankar Oram, MLA, Birmitrapur, Nikhil Pavan Kalyan, Collector, Sundergarh, Smt. Aboli Sunil Narwane, ADM, Rourkela, Dibyajyoti Parida, Commissioner, RMC, Dr. Saroj Kumar Mishra, CDMO, Sundergarh, Biswajit Mohapatra, Sub-Collector, Panposh, Directors of RGH & IGH and employees of RSP. On this special day 3 plasma donors have donated their plasma and more than 100 donors are ready to do the noble cause. Govt. has also addressed all those who have recovered to come forward to donate plasma which will help many others to recover. The recovery rate is very good across the state and with this procedure many more corona positive patients will recover soon.
