‘Mo Chatashalee’ launched in City Slum to Bridge Learning Gap

Bhubaneswar: In an effort to bridge learning gaps among students in Bhubaneswar slums who are losing out on their education due to the lockdown induced school closure since last 10 months, “Mo Chatashalee”remedial class initiative was launched herein Line Basti near Mancheswar area in the city under the aegis of Bhubaneswar Bikash Sangathan, an ally of Atmashakti Trust, Odisha Shramajeebee Mancha (OSM) and Mahila Shramajeebee Mancha, Odisha (MSMO).
Under the initiative, children of primary grade of this area will be provided remedial on Odia and Mathematics to by a trained volunteer so that they can improve their learning levels in the 100 days of learning module.
In the inaugural event, more than 50 school going children, their parents, community members and representatives of the sangathans took part. Ms Prabhasini Mohantyand Manoja Mishra from Matrushakti Foundation, Ms Ruchi Kashyap, Executive Trustee, Atmashakti Trust, Mr Anjan Pradhan, Convener, Odisha Shramajeebee Mancha, attended the event.
