Miscreants threaten for dire consequence of life (!).
BERHAMPUR: On the basis of the Complaint filed by L.Arjuna Patra(40), of Goilundi, Sri Nagar, Berhampur,PS-Baidyanathpur.
In this context, on Wednesday the Baidyanathpur police arrested four persons on the charge of hurling bombs at a relative’s house.
The arrested accused persons were identified as; L.Susil(27), of Bagadevi street, Goilundi,Sanjaya Kumar Naik(24),of Kamapalli, Khala Street, P.Satish Rao(29), S/o-P.Madhab Rao of Brahmanagar 2nd lane, Berhampur, PS-B.N.Pur, Dist-Ganjam and G.Jitendra Patra(27),of Ganesh Nagar 1st Lane, Lanjipalli.All comes under Baidyanathpur Police limts,Berhampur.
The police seized the remnants of the explosive and other incriminate materials from spot.
According to Police,on 24.06.2023 at 11 AM basing on the written report of complainant of L.Arjuna Patra(40),of Goilundi, Sri Nagar, Berhampur,the instant case was registered u/s.506/34 IPC,R/W Sec 3, &4 ES Act, and Sub Inspector,Ms. Anjali Behera investigated the case.
During investigation it is ascertained that, the complainant and accused L.Susil are relative to each other. B.Kunti Devi and L.Manmatha who is the father of accused L.Susil are brother and sister. B.Kunti Devi has a 10X15 feet room at Goilundi Chhaka and she has been staying at Khadagapur with her family member since long.
L.Manmatha was running a grocery shop in the said room since last 13 years to maintain his livelihood with the consent of B.Kunti Devi. In the meantime L.Jayashri who is the wife of L.Manmatha picked up quarrel and exchanged some hot words for which B.Kunti Devi vacated the room and on request by the complt. L.Arjuna Patra she allowed the complainant. to run a business in the said room.
Accordingly L.Arjuna Patra ran a grocery shop in the said room since last 2 years. On the other side the complainant L.Arjuna Patra is the cousin brother of B.Kunti Devi.
Basing on this issue the accused .L.Susil thought that L.Arjuna Patra instigated his elder-sister-in-law for which his elder-sister-in-law directed his father to vacate the room and to take revenge accused L.Susil gathered the co-accused persons.
As per their plan on the occurrence night the accused L.Susil along with his associates namely Sanjaya Kumar Naik(24), P.Satish Rao(29), of Brahmanagar 2nd lane, and G.Jitendra Patra(27),of Ganesh Nagar 1st Lane, Lanjipalli, being armed with bomb and other dangerous weapon came to the house of complainant. L.Arjuna Patra and terrorise the family members of the complainant.They thrown and blast two bombs in front of the house of complainant. and fled away from the spot threatening to the complainant and his family members for dire consequence of life.
