Misbehaviour by Police against Media Persons

Baliguda:When media representatives are at full swing to collect update information’s, particularly on pandemic situations, they are betrayed & misbehaved candidly by police personnel’s.

On a meeting called by Utkal Journalists Association (UJA) President Santosh Kumar Dash, regarding on an incident on 18th May night, when SI Dipak Kumar Samantsinghar brutally attacked & vomited with verbal languages & too cautioned, whose audio video got viral. That issue staked at SDPO,However,SP, Vinit Agarwal, who is yet to take action.

All members untidily affirmed to take the issue before SP Kandhamal and as a result SI Samantsinghar transferred to head quarter after enquiry. This irritated on all working journalists rather demanded stringent action against ASI or else they decided to report to Collector Kandhamal.
