Migrant Labourer’s Woes

Paralakhemundi- A person went to Uttarpradesh for his livelihood earning.From Kalaba village under Adava Police Station, one Sanka Murmu apprehended by 4 persons of nearest village to work in a cement company of UP,where he had been assured to get ₹20000 with false promises on last 13th.Sanko agreed with their talk & started there his work. After 7 days,when he asked for payment owner heckled him & beaten severely. Later he had been fainted by overdose of liquor. Meanwhile firm owner cut his right palm & left leg. Later they admitted at nearest Jhansi hospital for treatment. After 2 days he released from hospital.On 30th September firm owner through touts left him at his village & threatened Sanko family not to expose before Police.On retrospect they warned to kill all family members if they complain at police station. Sanko’s wife said that her husband not interested to go such long distance but pretended forcefully by touts who taken away Sanka. After some days they received call regarding such attack vehemently in his body by that firm gang.
