MIGRANT LABOURERS ARRIVED BY SPECIAL TRAIN FROM SURAT TO GANJAM

BERHAMPUR:The migrant labourers special train from Surat to Jahannathpur in Ganjam arrived at Jagannathpur Railway station with migrant Labour from 02districts of Odisha i,e; Ganjam-1242 Khordha-01 including female and children.
Keeping in front any unlawful situation or violation of guidelines by the migrants Senior state administration Officer, District Collector,PD,DRDA, Commissioner BeMC, Sub-collector Chatrapur Berhampur,and others SP,Ganjam,SP,Berhampur, ASP, SDPO, DSP DSP DIB Chatrapur, and ASC KUR with 30 RPF officers and staff were present at Station.
According to Mr Dilip Kumar Officer, RPF, the migrant labourers deboarded at Railway station Jagannathpur block wise of , after following all guideline of Covid-19. 12 screening centre are established by district administration deployed with medical team (07 members in each team).
They were queued from coaches to screening centre where, they were sanitized; thermal screening followed registration was done, next marked for 15 days home quarantine. Mask and food kit water bottle were provided by state authority.
The station was properly barricaded and adequate, RPF, GRP, and local police personnel were deployed to guard the station from all sides to prevent entry of unauthorized persons. Migrant labourers sent to different quarentine centre respective district by deploying 38 Buses.
